Ombudsman holds Disability Workshop

Ombudsman Ger Deering and staff at the Disability Workshop, held in IHREC offices on 23 November 2022.
The Ombudsman, Ger Deering, met with community, voluntary and civic groups to hear about their experience of dealing with public service providers in Ireland. These service providers include government departments, Local Authorities, the HSE, higher education bodies and private nursing homes.

Other Workshops
The Ombudsman is holding a series of workshops over the next few months to listen to community, voluntary and civic groups. The purpose of the workshops is to inform the Ombudsman about issues concerning the delivery of public services. The Ombudsman would also like to hear about people’s experience of contacting our Office.
