30th July 2012 - The Ombudsman has made a submission to the Department of Health as part of its review of the Nursing Home Support Scheme
At its invitation, the Ombudsman has recently made a submission to the Department of Health as part of its review of the operation of the Nursing Home Support Scheme (NHSS). A key observation of the Ombudsman is a recognition that the review is taking place at a time of enormous change and upheaval in the health service and that the NHSS must be considered within that wider context.
