The Office of the Ombudsman investigates complaints from members of the public who believe they have been unfairly treated by certain public service providers such as government departments, local authorities, the HSE and publicly-funded third level education providers. The Ombudsman also investigates complaints about failures by public bodies to provide accessible buildings, services and information.
