The Ombudsman is aware that many people want to meet in person outside Dublin and need assistance with their complaint. He also wishes to engage with public representatives and the many providers of public services located around the country. With that in mind the Office is carrying out a Regional visit to Clare in September 2019.
There will be a conference for local representatives and key officials from public service providers, a training session for local CIC staff, and a complaints clinic for the general public.
Staff from the Office of the Ombudsman will be available to provide advice and assistance at Treacy’s West County Hotel on Thursday 19th September 2019 from 10am until 7pm.
An appointment is not necessary and the service is free.
Please note the Ombudsman cannot examine complaints about An Garda Síochána, private companies, financial services (banks and insurance).
